Henson Contractors, Inc. was founded on the principles of a family lineage dating over 70 years. Clayton Henson has used the tools from both inside and outside the family business to build HCI’s solid foundation which is a company that is focused on building a product of the highest quality along with the utmost regard for customer satisfaction.

Early on, Clayton saw the joy that came with helping others build their dream homes. Through innovative design and an eye for detail Henson Contractors, Inc. has carried on the family tradition of exceeding our clients’ expectations

Clayton has been involved with building and licensing over 1800 units ranging from Apartments, Assisted Living, Mid-Rise Construction, Commercial, and Suburban Properties exceeding $420 Million.

Henson Contractors, Inc. is a state licensed class “A” Certified General Contractor and is a Florida Green Building Coalition registered agent. HCI is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Florida Home Builders Association, the Sarasota Building Industry Association and North Port Contractors Association.
